Culture: Sharm El Sheikh has a very western outlook, however beware that topless sunbathing is illegal in Egypt. Dress code in the resorts in generally liberal but if going on day trips away from the resort a more conservative dress code would be advisable. Alcohol is available but the minimum age is 21.
