8. If the above command is successful, you might be able to view a spuninst.tag file using ‘DIR’ copmmand.
9. Reboot your system.

Google Gears is a program that is basically a plugin that allows many of the Google applications like Google Docs or Google Reader to work on your machine when you are offline. These applications typically require an internet connection, but Gears allowed it to be edited and changed when you didn’t have a connection.
