PayPal – How to Setup PayPal on Your Website in Less Than 30 Minutes
If you need to take payments on your website, PayPal is the way to go. PayPal is easy, reliable, and free to install. Need some help getting PayPal up and running? Here’s how to do it.
Sign-up For A PayPal Account
Signing up for a PayPal account is easy and free. Just go to PayPal.com and click ‘Sign up’ on the left. You have to choose among 3 different types of accounts. Since I buy and sell online, I chose the Premier account. If you want to learn the difference between the accounts, just go to the help section. Choosing the type of account is not a monumental decision. You can change account types later if you need to.
Create A Button
Once you have signed-up for your PayPal account, you need to create a button for your website that people will click when they purchase your product. To do this, choose ‘Merchant Services’ from the top menu and then click on the ‘Buy Now Button’.
You will then come to a page asking several questions about your product. Enter the name of your product, the price, and how you want to get paid. You can also specify which webpage the buyer will be taken to after they complete the purchase.
Put The PayPal Button On Your Website
Once you have entered all of the information, click the ‘Create Button’ button on the bottom. PayPal will then generate a few lines of code that you need to place on your website where you want the button to be. Just copy and paste. It is really that easy! Once you have placed the button on your website, you can celebrate. You have completely integrated PayPal into your website and you are ready to make some serious money!
