What’s So Great About Online Shopping?
Some people love to go shopping. Even if they don’t have anything in particular that they need, they’ll shop on the chance that they’ll see something that they like. They like shopping so much that even if they don’t have any intention of buying anything that day because they’re out of cash and they’ve maxed out their credit, they’ll go shopping anyway – window shopping. Well, count me out of that group. Shopping for me has always been such a hassle… that is, until I discovered this marvelous thing called online shopping.
Online shopping has turned me into the most conscientious of gifters. Whereas before, my relatives and friends would be happy just to get a call from me greeting them a happy birthday or congratulating them for something, now they’re all agog by the idea that whenever there’s a special occasion, there I am with an appropriate gift.
And I owe this newfound admiration in the eyes of my friends and family to online shopping. It’s made it so easy and convenient for me to buy presents for all those I love. I no longer get anxious and stressed before each shopping jaunt because I can do it all from the comfort of my bed or, when I’m feeling particularly energetic, my couch. I don’t need to get dressed; I don’t need to get into my car, negotiate the traffic, and find a parking slot; I don’t have to trek endless miles from store to store looking for just the right thing. Unlike in my past shopping experiences, my feet don’t end up hurting, my patience doesn’t run out, I stay unfrazzled and cool throughout the entire process.
And it doesn’t matter what I’m looking for; I know I’ll find it being sold online. In fact I’ve found some pretty unique items during some of my online shopping jaunts. Last Christmas I delighted my Aunt Kathleen when I presented her with three cups and one saucer to replace the ones she had lost from her heirloom Spode set. She wouldn’t stop marveling at how I had found these. I kid you not. Online shopping has brought a whole new respect for me in the eyes of my familiars.
