That blue print involves deciding on a niche, building a list, build your brand and sell the answer to the needs of your niche. Let’s take a closer look at each of these.
Decide on a niche:
Deciding on a niche is the first step in starting your Internet business. You will want to get into a niche that has an adequate amount of search volume to support your business. You also will want to select a niche that is spending money. If you can select a niche that has these two traits and that you have a passion for, you will have a winning combination and your niche will support a long term and profitable business.
Build a list:
Once you have your niche selected, the first thing you should concentrate on is building a list in that niche. You can send traffic directly to a sales page but the odds of making the sale are very slim. It usually takes multiple exposures to an offer for a qualified prospect to make a purchase. Without a list and a relationship and trust, odds are you will never get another chance to make your offer to that prospect. It is your list that will help you build your brand in your niche and that list will provide you a good long term Internet business.
Build a brand in your niche:
You want to get as much exposure for your business as possible so that you build your own brand and become a recognized authority in your niche. The best way to accomplish this is by creating a constant flow of fresh and valuable content to your niche. You also will build your brand by building your list and providing the members with quality content and value. This will create trust in you and your brand and will make your prospects want to do business with you.
Sell the Answer:
You have a niche and are building a list and building your brand within your niche. You are becoming a trusted authority in your niche and people are looking forward to more of your constant flow of valuable content. Your list members now have trust in you and are looking to you for answers to their problems. Now it is time to ask them what their problems are and what they would like from you in the form of solutions. Since you already have their trust, they will be happy to tell you what they want and need to help them move to the next level. Armed with that information you now have the answer that you already know will sell in your niche. All that is left is to put it all together and offer the finished product to your list and the rest of the niche.
