An Internet Marketing Re-Do
I am a little confused by the internet marketing world. This is a unique phenomenon in that it seems everyone thinks they can build a business for free with no real investment, yet, when certain things are offered for free, no one jumps at the opportunity to snatch up these certain freebies.
I recently spent a hundred bucks on some personal internet marketing training and coaching, and I have to say, I was more than disappointed in what I received. You see, the training was touted as training that anyone in internet marketing could use to succeed when in reality; it was training for a complete newbie. You see, it was training that I could have found for free, but someone got me to pay for the training.
How can one really charge for training in this industry? All the training being offered is copy and paste; everyone is using the same training, and it is generic and watered down. When I actively seek out training, I want training that will fulfill an internet marketing, immediate need. For instance, I wanted to know how to write articles so they would be seen when doing a keyword search, so I sought training that would answer that question or solve that need. I did not want to pay hundreds of dollars for answers to questions I already possessed the knowledge to; I want the answer I did not have, that is where I spent my money.
MLM or internet marketing training should be designed with the learners needs in mind, and it is with this concept where I am confused with internet marketing. It seems everyone wants everything for free, except training! I have yet to find quality internet marketing training that is delivered free. The only internet marketing training most marketers-myself included- give for free is the 25 Internet Marketing lessons that include the mostly free to find sites every marketer needs to succeed.
Folks, you can get quality training, but the one thing you must remember is that with great training comes an expense. You either spend time or money, but you must decide to take the initiative and learn where to go, how to do it, when to do it, and everything else in between. You cannot continue to hunt for the next free business package, concept, or product; there is no magic button. If you are sold on something because it seems you can quit your job within the next two months, you had better hope it is a winning lottery ticket or a hefty inheritance because this business takes decision making, determination, and dedication to succeed!
