A lot of other criteria like a zip code, an IP address or a particular ISP can also be used to target specific internet users. It makes e-marketing more fruitful than other forms of marketing.

An approach known as Niche marketing aims at drawing the attention of the internet audience towards a particular product or service. Niche based advertisers or marketers differ from traditional advertisers because they have expertise over a particular topic or product. For Example, traditionally a website or a strategy can be set up for marketing of mobile phones but a niche marketer will emphasize on Smartphone or android based phones.
