Basics of Earning Money on the Internet
Before I start flipping words on your screen I would like to make a point that this article is a basic foundation of earning money online, gradually you start building your understanding of the internet based work and in the days to follow, I will share all my related experiences on the same column at EzineArticles.
There are numerous ways to earn money on the web in which some of the very active and popular ways I would discuss in the following part of the article.
To begin with, I would like to classify the discussion in two sections:
1) When we don’t have the website
2) When we have the website
In simple words, first I would say that owning a website is same as buying the shop and once we own the shop we set up some business (Business moves to the shop). Next if we don’t have website then we need to do a middleman’s job, means approaching to the businesses and working for someone’s website (We approach the business)
Considering the first category when we have the website then there are two broad ways in which we can earn from our website
1.1) Making users to place an order and make a payment by established payment gateways as PayPal, Alertpay etc and then supplying the product(quite similar to the typical offline shop or outlet)
1.2) By making our website a host for many related advertisement. In this we place the banners of advertisers somewhere in our website. Now this advertisement can be of PPL (pay per lead) or PPC (pay per click) or PPS (pay per sale) type as these names are self explanatory and this being the first article in the series to follow I leave to upcoming articles of mine to provide deeper insights to all these terms right in my column at EzineArticles.
Two factors which should never be compromised or loosely handled are achieving organic traffic to website and quality of advertisement posted on the website( Please follow ethics here you will definitely succeed but remember be competitive, have patience and don’t expect anything in overnight).
Now in order to give overview on the other category when we don’t own a website, we have a wide range of internet based work which we can take up from home or internet cafe. Some of the very popular ways are listed below
2.1) Paid for writing or commenting reviews
2.2) Paid for reading advertisement in your inbox emails
2.3) Paid for participating in surveys
2.4) Paid for writing articles (No cut copy paste as it can be caught easily
2.5) Paid by referrals
Well here point of concern is that the web is full of slogans as earn money in a day,earn 100$ by working only for 1 hour, earn 5000$ or more in a month simply by working in home for 2 hours etc. Don’t get tempted by all this.
As on the web we have all good and bad apples so we should grab only the good ones by using common sense.
I don’t say that you can’t earn above mentioned sums but from my experience I would say we should always follow the organic ways to grow.
There are so many legal websites which are providing such earning opportunities. I would not recommend any single as I expect you to Google them out wisely, read reviews, cross check in forums.Whole ideas is to be proactive in making a choice.
First think of earning decent sums then gradually you will end up earning lot more.
Well please don’t think that working on the internet is going to make us millionaire in a day or month, in fact from my experience as a website developer I would say that internet related stuffs are no different from the offline businesses in terms of competition, returns, advertisements and many other aspects.
