Internet Marketing Math – 1 Equals 3 For Adding Internet Marketing Content

Content is what makes the internet work. If there was no one looking for anything then the internet would have no need to exist. Everyday millions, maybe billions, of people search the internet for information or products that interest them. If you are an internet marketing or product company how do you get some of these people to visit your site?

The answer is with the content you create that draws others attention. In the old days, just a few years ago, like 2003, one could put up a website with some imbedded keywords and the site was fairly easy to find. The search engines then came up with the pay per click model and for a small fee, your site could be listed on the first page of a search. A pretty simple and inexpensive way to get people to see what you had to offer.

The pay per click model has advanced rapidly. It is still the easiest and fastest way to get traffic to your website. It should be used by every internet marketer. However there are some methods of internet marketing that do not need the pay per click model. This is where internet marketing math comes into play.

For every piece of content, or advertising if you will, you can create at least three pieces of content. This is not calculus but internet marketing math. You do not need a calculator. Many times advertising is created with the written word. Using the advertising information, create an article or a press release and post it to an article or press release site. One piece of content. Use the article or press release to create a video and post it to any of the video hosting sites on the internet. Two pieces of content. Use the audio from the video and post it to any of the audio hosting sites on the internet. Three pieces of content.

So there you have it. Internet marketing math. No aspirin required.

To get more content out there the internet marketing math model can be further expanded. There are blogs, social bookmarking sites and your own website to post this new content. Just be sure to change the written content a bit as the search engines do not like exact duplicate content spread throughout the internet.
