Internet Marketing Newbies – Avoid These Pitfalls If You Want to Succeed In Internet Marketing
Did you know that 90% of Internet Marketing Newbies fail and give up within the first year. What is even more shocking is that the ones who succeeded made the same mistakes the ones who failed made, but recognized it in time to change the direction of their results. So what are those pitfalls and how can you avoid them?
The biggest, most important pitfall that threatens Internet Marketing newbies is that they spend too much time researching and not any time putting the information into action. Trust me everyone has done it in the beginning, but the ones who realize this and take action are the ones that make it and the others don’t.
The best way to avoid this is to set a limit on the amount of time you will spend studying, researching and learning and as a rule, implement at least one thing you have learned each day.
Next is when Internet Marketing newbies come across gurus that promise to give them a very tempting e-Book or bonus for handing them their e-mail address. Harmless as these offers seem, you might have realized by now that the e-mails that follow are filled with curiosity arousing subjects and are hard to pass up.
However, they all are ultimately only trying to sell you more stuff that you really do not need, don’t have the money to buy and even if you do, you will not have the time to read and even if you do, you will not have the time to implement because by then you will lured in by another guru to take a look at their offer.
Then there are some that buy everything they come across and spend all their time reading the material and watching the videos. They might implement some of the stuff they learn from here and some from what they learned there. The only problem with this is that they spread themselves too thin and do not do enough of one thing to make a difference.
So as you can see the biggest problem is distractions. Without action, none of the material you read is worth anything. Consistent action in the same direction is what will eventually make the difference between succeeding and failing. Think about it for a minute, if you are going somewhere and you take every exit, it will only take you off the freeway that leads to your destination. The surest way to reach your destination is to stay on that one freeway even if you can not see it yet.
