You can say goodbye to trying to budget your monthly expenditures because you just do not know how much you are going to make. The positive side to this is the fact that there is no limit to the amount of money you can make. But you should have some money saved or put aside to take care of your monthly bills and such so you don’t go homeless or without food for the first few months of this transition.
Another thing you should ask yourself is if an Internet business is something that you are going to be good at and something that you truly want to do. You will have to perform many tedious tasks and write a lot to make an online business succeed. You will also have to be a great self manager and force yourself to do the things necessary each and every day. This requires you to create your own structure in your life and make time to work your Internet business.
Some people need to be told what to do and forced into action because they just cannot do it themselves. Some people also need to know exactly how much money they’re going to make each month in order to feel comfortable and not stressed out. If any of this describes your personality then an Internet business may not be right for you and you may want to keep your day job.
On the other hand, an Internet business can create substantial wealth and freedom that working for an employer may not bring. I know plenty of people who went to school and worked hard to get themselves into high-paying positions for big businesses and corporations. Yes they make a lot of money now, but they don’t have the free time to enjoy their money or be able to do the things that they want when they want.
And really, what good is money if you don’t have the time to enjoy using it? True wealth isn’t about the number in your bank savings account, rather it is about creating the time and freedom to do the things that you want to do so you can be happy. A successful internet business may be able to do that for you.
