And sometimes what you are promised online is not what you are delivered at the end of the transaction. Veracity of the claim has to be checked. If your target audience and potential customers are not internet savvy, then this form of publicity is not for you.
This method of selling a product is beneficial to both the customers who now have a greater choice of products and services and the manufacturers because they have more cash towards making a better product.
