Why is My Internet Website Not Getting Any Traffic – Where Are All the Customers?
Some folks believe that you can simply start a website and put something for sale online and expect to have people buying their products and services right away. The Internet does not exactly work that way, first people have to come to your website, either by finding you on the search engines or by coming in thru a link from a social network, another website or perhaps from an email newsletter or article that you wrote and submitted to an online article submission website directory.
Once you do get some traffic streaming in, you can determine where it is coming from and how much is coming from where, then you can increase whatever is working for you to get the most bang for your buck. If you will use a web analytic tool on your site you will have the information you need to make important decisions on where to go from here. This will prevent you from shooting in the dark and wasting your time.
Far too many would be website entrepreneurs do not know what they are doing and thus, become disenchanted with their dismal results worse, they keep doing what’s not working and somehow think that eventually they will get the desired results they seek. And what was the definition of insanity again?
Without accurate information, you are just guessing and in the Internet world guessing isn’t good enough. You must know where you are, where those clicks are coming from, how much of that traffic is converting to serious inquiries or sales. You need to know where you are, if you are going to plot a successful journey to where you want to be. Please think on this.
