Work From Home For Moms – Is Internet Marketing a Good Choice?
When I had my daughter I knew that she was my top priority and I wanted desperately to find a way to stay home with her and not have to leave her for 8 or more hours each day. I did a series of odd jobs and dabbled in online business opportunities then I got a system and learned internet marketing. I took it seriously, considering my learning time to be like a college education and it has paid off. I think we need to get back to one parent working from home so our kids have that stability and internet marketing, at least for me, has been the answer.

So what does “internet marketing” mean? Internet marketers are ordinary people who market other people’s products and collect a commission for every sale or conversion. I say conversion because there are many companies who will pay an internet marketer for simply sending them a lead.
How do you become an internet marketer? What you need to do is sign up for free with affiliate networks online. These companies provide you with the offers that you can promote. The next step is to promote the offer and this can be done many different ways. If you want to promote an offer without spending a dime you can write articles much like this one and include a link at the bottom of the article that goes on to promote the product. If you are willing to spend some money to make some money then you can look into CPV (Cost Per View) where you create an ad and pay a set amount (usually as low as a cent per view) each time that ad is seen (you control your spending limit) or you can promote the product using CPC (Cost Per Click) this means you pay each time someone clicks on your ad.
Sounds simple right? Well, what I just described is how internet marketing works but there is an art to it and that is what leads to the full-time income. I highly recommend internet marketing as a way to work from home for moms who don’t want to hassle with inventory, phone calls or selling and who need flexible hours but I also recommend that you do not try to jump into internet marketing blind. When I learned I “followed the leader” in other words I followed a system so I could learn all the “lingo” and not waste money or time.
I think a great teacher to follow is Jeremy Schoemaker he is a real transparent guy and very likable which is important because he doesn’t make me feel stupid! He also teaches via video which for me is much easier to learn from because I am actually seeing what he is doing and then following his exact steps instead of trying to decipher a written manual.
