One of the hardest things I did in a long time was get my website published. I wanted it to look good enough so people wouldn’t laugh at me. I’m too vain.
In my market niche people don’t care about how my website looks to them . They care about what it will DO FOR THEM!
It’s about the benefits, stupid!
My website is designed to keep newcomers to Internet Marketing from getting off on the wrong foot. Losing money instead of making money.
I did that. Both. Lost money and made money. I made my website to prevent others from making the same mistakes I did! At 59 I’m not really ready to retire. I want to do something creative. I’d like it to make a decent amount of money. My main requirement is that my next endeavor has to be something I can do part time…from anywhere.
So, I’ve been looking around at business opportunities on the web. Make money online. Sounds good doesn’t it?
There are literally thousands of people and websites offering as many ways to make money online as there are people who’ll pay for it.
The pitches you get on these make money online websites range from hard to grasp to very attractive. After all, who wouldn’t like to make huge money without having to work hard or go into the office? Who wouldn’t like to drive nice cars and watch the money roll in?
Well, I would too! But that ain’t gonna happen for most folks. What is going to happen is the hapless victim is going to join a multilevel outfit and get nowhere. Or he/she will download some e books and remain baffled at the industry jargon and remain unable to break into Internet Marketing. After blowing hundreds or even thousands of dollars on various “schemes” a heck of a lot of these people will give up in frustration.
Did mention that I am 59? Did I tell you that I am an experienced businessman? I’ve been in the business world for 35 years! I’ve made a lot of money AND I’ve lost a lot of money. And I’m way ahead.
Over the years I developed a lot of skills. These skills have enabled me to survive and prosper in a business environment that chews people up and spits them out daily. If I hadn’t learned what it takes in my business, I would have been one of the people this business buries daily without prejudice.
