Up till this moment I have not been able to think out bizarre reasons why the offline marketing is preferable to an online business. It is of importance to tell you that online business is the trend for now. Every notable and prosperous business, organisation, corporation and institution has an image on the internet and this provides the avenue for cash to trade hands. I will be discussed some of the advantages the internet has over our regular market place.
1. Your Online Presence Is Live 24/7
Except you pull out your website, it remains alive and visible to people around the world 24/7. People can find you and still do business with you even when your offline shop has closed and even when you are sleeping. Think about this!
2. You Reach The Whole World Through Your Online Store
It is not like the offline shop you have that is limited to customers around you. Your website will give you customers from around the world.
3. It is Quite Easier And Less Expensive To Setup
How much do you think it will cost you to have an online shop? Consider that you will need to register your company with the Government agency concerned. You will need to rent a shop space and then you stock up your shop with the goods you need to sell. Let me think of the rough estimate – $3,000?! You cannot be relegated to the background because you do not have a sponsor. It is an equal playing ground for every Tom, Dick and Harry. You must just worth your salt. Be good in your field.

The Disadvantages

Since internet marketing is done via the internet, there is no way you can see the person you are either buying from or selling to. You only do business based on trust on the person’s reputation. 2. You can easily be distracted
This is true for starters. Since the internet has billions of websites struggling for relevance and for your attention, so many offers (fake and real, outdated and recent) are pushed to you. All these can only lead to worthless spending, confusion and frustration.
3. You must work very hard at the beginning
Who says internet marketing is all profits! Profits!! Profits!!! Yes that can be true but for newbies, you must burn so many hours out per day to learn all the witty gritty of your chosen niche.
4. You will face a larger competition
Remember, billions of websites are struggling for relevance and for your attention. So what do you make out of that?
