If you work in the construction industry you will be used to working with straight lines and requiring the use of a spirit level to make sure things are straight and accurate. Spirit levels are a very handy device but are limited in function, they are only small and although accurate do have room for slight error.

These devices have many functions and unlike the spirit level can perform bright accurate vertical lines at the touch of a button; they also warn you if the line is not level by sounding a warning noise. They contain a pendulum self levelling mechanism this ensures the device of accuracy and in turn gives the user peace of mind.
The only downside to these wonderful devices are the delicacy of them, they contain what are known as ‘prisms’, should the unit fall from a height (even a small one) it is very likely that the prisms inside will be damaged rendering the unit useless. A lot of warranties do not cover ‘drops’ for Cross Line Lasers’, be sure to check this before purchase and use them with care.
